we are what we eat ....

my wife emailed me this article ......

Ustaz Abdullah Mahmood mengungkapkan, Rasullulah tak pernah sakit perut sepanjang hayatnya kerana pandai menjaga makanannya sehari-hari. Insya Allah kalau anda ikut diet Rasullullah ini, anda takkan menderita sakit perut ataupun keracunan makanan.

Jangan makan SUSU bersama DAGING
Jangan makan DAGING bersama IKAN
Jangan makan IKAN bersama SUSU
Jangan makan AYAM bersama SUSU
Jangan makan IKAN bersama TELUR
Jangan makan IKAN bersama DAUN SALAD
Jangan makan SUSU bersama CUKA
Jangan makan BUAH bersama SUSU CTH :- KOKTEL

CARA MAKAN
• JANGAN MAKAN BUAH SETELAH MAKAN NASI , SEBALIKNYA MAKANLAH
BUAH TERLEBIH DAHULU, BARU MAKAN NASI.
• TIDUR 1 JAM SETELAH MAKAN TENGAH HARI.
• JANGAN SESEKALI TINGGAL MAKAN MALAM . BARANG SIAPA YG TINGGAL
MAKAN MALAM DIA AKAN DIMAKAN USIA DAN KOLESTEROL DALAM BADAN AKAN BERGANDA.

Nampak memang sulit.. tapi, kalau tak percaya... cubalah.

Nabi pernah mencegah kita makan ikan bersama susu.
o Mandi Pagi sebelum subuh, sekurang kurangnya sejam sebelum
matahari terbit.
o Rasulullah mengamalkan minum segelas air sejuk (bukan air
ais) setiap pagi. Mujarabnya Insya Allah jauh dari penyakit (susah mendapat sakit).
o Waktu sembahyang subuh disunatkan kita bertafakur (iaitu
sujud sekurang kurangnya seminit setelah membaca doa).
(enzim sejenis alat percerna makanan).
Wassalam...

Sama-samalah kita mengamalkannya. ......

celebrating mediocrity?

malaysia is just a tiny nation in the olympic ....nothing to shout about ..probably just as 'great' as 'malawi' - a country we always accidently choose when fill online forms on the internet..i am afraid there is very little reason for us to be proud of our country's involvement in the world's greatest event.

we were dished out with a false hope that this year is our best chance to obtain our first olympic gold medal ....with all this hype ..we were glued to the tele on last sunday night just to see our best gold medal prospect can't even lift up his head... overwhelmed by chinese crowd... what a nuisance crowd ...they should have kept quite so that our player would not be so nervous and the whole world could enjoy the best badminton game in the world as expected from the world's no 1 and no 2 players ... should we blamed the crowd? .... world's best players should be able to handle bigger tsunami than this .... at home a lot of people praised 'his performance'

yes ....as always a nation that celebrates mediocrity .... mediocrity that exists everywhere in the country... but always smoke screened as 'achievement'

on another note i just wonder ...how much we spent for the olympic this time around? .... all the years our 'olympian' spent overseas preparing to be no .....err....57 (not even shown in the medal tally ranking ...as if we are not exist at all....btw is 'malawi' in the ranking?)...

would it be better for the money to be spent on building a university ... a unversity that have the best facilities ... paying the best teachers in the world ...and hopefully attracting the best students in the world ...based solely on 'merit' ... with hope that one day this university would produce the best brain who can think of how to make our country a truly great nation where nobody disputes it ...and everyone of us can be proud of...

winds of change

for me sunday is not the same as say 2 or 3 years ago . those were the time when sundays were spent (if happened to be at home) by flipping through pages of newspapers after newspapers. nowadays i hardly buy newspapers anymore. reason ...newspapers are quite expensive ...besides the content is not worth to pay for...my income which buys less nowadays better spent on other more pressing matters like milk or diapers for my children ...

what do i do on sundays ? ...yes exactly what i am doing now ...surfing (or in the case of today updating my blogs) ...more independent news and views can be found over the internet and the blogs ...and for me, they are more reliable as the filtering or editing process can be done ourselves ...we can judge what to absorb or reject ... without realising it, we are changing our lifestyle

i can't avoid to touch on what happened in permatang pauh yesterday ....some say it was about 40k of people against 5k accompanying the candidates of the by election. my reflection on that scenario is that there are a strong current of people that hungry for change... from the images, i can see that they are just ordinary people on the street - silent majority that have nothing to gain but just emerged to demonstrate that they are supporting a force of changes ... a force to be reckoned with .... we cant avoid changes instead we must embrace it with hope that it would be for the better ....

new baby

it has been more than 2 weeks since my last posting ... slack again in pretending to be a writer ...or a blogger.

as usual or as normally anticipated from a human being, excuse is coming along as a result of such shortcomings . yes what is the excuse this time .... oh yes i just got a new baby - my wife just delivered our 3rd child ... a lovely baby girl. well not 'just' - it has been more than 2 weeks already. right! you can imagine how hectic of excitement in my household at the moment or at least for the last 2 weeks.

what i want to share here is my amazement with the medical staff in the labour room - their action is like a clockwork. know where to put 7 types of funny shapes scissors, forcepts, unwrap sterile equipment etc for the doctor to use precisely. what amazed me more is they can carry out measurement without looking just using their fingers! very professional indeed. these are the kind of people who deserve the iso certificate ... they can always pass the audit with their eyes close anytime of the year without prior warning!
